This knife utilizes a 7" Long Clip blade. Stamped with pattern number USMC CV, the blade is Blackened Carbon Steel with the famous CASE XX tang stamp. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. Included with the knife is a Genuine Leather Sheath embossed with U.S.M.C. Emblem & CASE XX Logo, and Certificate of Authenticity.
