Do you sell knock-off or imitation knife brands?

Has my knife shipped yet?

Most items are shipped the day of purchase if placed before 4PM EST, otherwise, they should ship-out the next day. You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail when your order is shipped, so always be sure to provide a valid e-mail address. If you haven't received any e-mails after ordering, please check your SPAM folder before contacting us.

How long does shipping take?

  Deadwood Knives® guarantees ship-out the same day payment clears (until 4PM EST), unless there is a problem... we will then contact you. And, although we cannot guarantee the Postal Service performance, most items do arrive within 2-6 days. International can be expected in 6-18 days. If you need your item quicker, then we offer Priority Mail & Overnight shipping options as well. Additional charges do apply for Priority Mail, Overnight and International shipping.

What shipping carrier does Deadwood Knives® use?

  Our standard carrier is USPS, however we also offer UPS service at a discounted rate. Other shipping carriers might also be available upon request and extra fees might apply.

Are Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico considered International shipping?

No, they are all considered Domestic shipping!

What do I do with a defective knife?

All knives are under a manufacture lifetime warranty, unless stated otherwise. You can send your knife directly to the manufacturer anytime, or you may return it to us according to our Return Policy.

Do you repair knives?

Deadwood Knives® does not do any of the warranty or repair work for any of the brands that we sell. Repair work should be done by the original manufacturer. Please contact us and we will be happy to help in any way that we can!

How old do I have to be to order a knife?

You should always check your local laws. You must be at least 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER to order from Further local restrictions apply.

Do you provide knife appraisals?

No, we only deal in "factory new" knives.

Do you buy or trade knives?

We do not buy or trade knives. We want our customers to know that our products are brand new - straight from the manufacturer, never used or re-sharpened.

If I’m ordering a knife as a gift for someone else, will there be a receipt/invoice in the package when they receive it?

We do not include any receipts or invoice information in the shipped packages. All of the order information will be emailed to you directly. Many of our items are gifts, so we do all that we can to treat every package this way.

Where do you ship from?

All items are on-hand and ready to ship from our facility in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Can you mail me a catalog?

We do not currently offer a printed catalog….but we might do so in the future. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, please contact us. We will add you to the list and when the catalog is available we will be happy to get one sent out to you.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes...we ship to most countries around the world. However, it is the customer's responsibility to pay customs taxes and determine legality. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are all considered domestic. Click here to see our full Shipping policy.

Is international shipping insurable?

Yes! We recommend insuring your item. However, insuring your item is optional. You can add insurance during the checkout process. The cost is $1.95 for every $100 of your order. We are not liable for lost packages.

Do you accept foreign checks or international money orders?

  No international personal checks, please. Money Orders and Cashiers Checks must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.

Do you drop-ship your knives from other companies?

No, we do not drop ship! Our entire inventory is on hand ready to ship from our own All-American facility.

Do you combine shipping charges?

Yes...Of course, Standard U.S. Shipping is Free no matter how many items you purchase! Priority U.S. Shipping is only $1.95 per additional item. And International Shipping is always half the normal cost, no matter how many items are purchased. Click here to see our full Shipping policy.

How long is the knife?

We photograph every knife with a ruler and/or state the length in every description (full length for fixed blade knives and "closed" length for folding knives).

Where is this knife made?

We offer many different brands that are made all over the world! To help our customers know where each item is made, we add this information to every description and listing. If you have any questions concerning the location that an item is made, feel free to contact us.

Will I receive the actual knife pictured?

We do use a stock photo to represent our products, however, we do our best to represent them well. Of course each piece may have different swirls or patterns, but they should look similar to what we have available.

When will an Out-of-Stock knife be back In-Stock?

Typically, because of the inherent unpredictability and traditional nature of the collectable knife industry, we have a lot of "Out of Stock" products that will eventually be restocked once the manufacturer makes more. However, we will be happy to notify you as soon as an out of stock item is restocked! Simply go to the item that you are interested in and select the "Out of Stock- Notify Me…" link on that listing. As soon as the item arrives to us, we will email you so that you can go ahead and purchase your item.
