Copperhead
The Copperhead knife originated in the early 1900's from the Jack knife pattern, but with a bolster that bulges above the tang corners of the closed blade. This prevents the pocket knife's blade corners from snagging on or wearing out your pocket. The bolster's bulge is reminiscent of the bulges of a Copperhead snake. This knife pattern is typically equipped with the very capable Clip blade and trusty Pen blade.
