Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this All-American Buck Compadre Camp Fixed Blade is about 9 1/2 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 7.2 ounces. The handle is Natural Canvas Micarta with a lanyard hole and finger guard. This knife utilizes a 4 5/8" Drop Point blade with a plain edge, 4mm thickness, fire-striker spine and thumb ramp jimping. The blade material is 5160 Carbon Steel with BOS heat-treatment and Black Cobalt Cerakote coating. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife comes complete with a Leather Belt Sheath.
