This knife utilizes a 3 5/8" Locking Drop Point(w/Emerson Opener & Thumb Disc) blade. The blade material is D2 High Carbon Steel with Stonewashed finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
