The handle is Genuine Deer Stag with a round Nickel Silver Boker Inlay Shield. The bolsters are Nickel Silver and the Pins and Liners are Brass. This knife utilizes a 2 5/8" Spear blade and 1 3/4" Pen blade. The blades are highly polished Carbon Solingen Steel. Solingen Steel is regarded as the highest quality knife steel in the world. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
