This handsome Civivi Elementum II Button Lock is approximately 4 1/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 3.3 ounces. The handle is Twill Carbon Fiber Overlay on Black G10 with blacked-out hardware, a right-hand button lock, tip-up right-carry pocket clip, and lanyard hole. This knife utilizes a 2 7/8" Locking Drop Point blade with a plain edge, flat grind, 3mm(0.12") thickness, and finger lever/finger guard. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The knife is presented with a Storage Pouch and Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
