Stamped with pattern number 62131 CS, the blade material is Carbon Steel etched with Native American Canoe scene. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
