KA-BAR™ Warthog Fixed Blade 1278 SK5 Carbon Steel & Black Thermoplastic Rubber Knife
This timeless KA-BAR Warthog Fixed Blade is approximately 12 1/4 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 15.4 ounces. The handle is textured Black Thermoplastic Rubber with intergrated retension pommel and a lanyard hole. This knife utilizes a 6 3/4" Big Belly' Clip Point blade with a flat grind, swedge, thumb ramp, finger guard and 4mm(0.165") thickness. The blade material is SK5 Carbon Steel(52-54HRC) with a Black finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Black Hard Plastic & Cordura Belt Sheath.
