This handsome Kershaw Norad Frame Lock is approximately 4 1/2 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 5.3 ounces. The handle is bead-blasted Stainless Steel with Carbon Fiber Inserts and a Reversible Tip-Up Pocket Clip. This knife utilizes a 3 1/2" Locking Drop Point blade plain edge, swedge, spine jimping, 2.8mm thickness and finger lever. The blade material is D2 High Carbon Steel with Gray PVD coating and satin grind. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
