Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this timeless KA-BAR Jarosz Turok Fixed Blade is about 11 1/2 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 12.0 ounces. The handle is textured Brown Ultramid with lanyard hole and finger guard. This knife utilizes a 6 1/4" Drop Point blade with a flat grind, 20-degree straight edge, swedge and 4.8mm(0.188") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58HRC) with a Black finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Celcon MOLLE Belt Sheath.
