Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this timeless KA-BAR Dog's Head Utility Fixed Blade is about 12 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 10.5 ounces. The handle is polished Brown Leather with Gloss Black carbon steel finger guard and hammer pommel. This knife utilizes a 7" Clip Point blade with a flat grind, straight edge, swedge, fuller and 4mm(0.165") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58HRC) with a Black finish and engraved with 125th Anniversary blade art. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Brown Leather Belt Sheath embossed with Dog's Head Logo.
