Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this timeless KA-BAR Becker Harpoon Fixed Blade is about 9 3/8 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 6.8 ounces. The contoured handle is textured Brown Ultramid with lanyard hole and finger guard. This knife utilizes a 4 1/2" Clip Point Harpoon blade with a flat grind, straight edge, swedge, spine jimping, 90-degree spine edge and 4.2mm(0.165") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58HRC) with a Burnt Bronze finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Celcon MOLLE Belt Sheath.
