Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this timeless KA-BAR Becker Kephart Fixed Blade is about 9 5/8 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 5.8 ounces. The contoured handle is textured Walnut Wood with Black screws and low-profile finger guard. This knife utilizes a 5 1/8" Drop Point blade with a flat grind, 20-degree edge and 4mm(0.158") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58HRC) with a Stonewashed finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Brown Leather Belt Sheath. This Becker Kephart Fixed Blade is a professional-grade tool that comes with a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty and is not designed nor intended to be used on or against humans.
