This handsome CIVIVI Kwaiq Liner Lock is approximately 3 7/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.1 ounces. The handle is Ivory & Black G10 with a finger lever blade opening system, a liner lock, and an ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip/lanyard. This knife utilizes a 3" Locking Tanto blade with a plain edge and 2.5mm (0.1") thickness. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The knife is presented with a Storage Pouch.
