Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this handsome Spyderco Native 5 Lockback is about 4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 4.6 ounces. The contoured handle is Amber Bone with large lanyard hole and highly-polished right-carry tip-up pocket clip. The bolsters are crafted from bars meticulously forged by expert bladesmiths Ed Schempp and his son Martin. Through a painstakingly complex year-long process involving more than 1,200 hours of work, Ed and Martin transformed solid billets of 1084 and 15N20 tool steel into Mosaic Damascus Steel bars. The cross section of each bar showcases a detailed checkerboard pattern of 36 squares, each containing Spyderco’s signature “bug” logo. This knife utilizes a 3" Locking Spear Point blade with a plain edge, full-flat grind, 3.2mm thickness, swedge, finger choil jimping, spine jimping, and thumb hole. The blade material is CPM S90V Stainless Steel with a Satin finish. The knife is presented with a Hardwood Presentation Box.
