Handcrafted in Italy, this handsome Fox Chilin Liner Lock is approximately 4 1/2 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 4.1 ounces. The handle is textured Olive Drab Green Anodized Aluminum with blacked-out hardware, skeletonized liners, a reversible tip-up wire pocket clip, and a lanyard hole. This knife utilizes a 3 1/8" 'Big Belly' Locking Drop Point blade with a plain edge, 4mm thickness, spine jimping, and a thumb hole. The blade material is N690Co Stainless Steel with a Black PTFE Stonewashed finish. Shilin Cutters knives are handmade by a family member of the Chiu family. The history of these knives began their legacy in 19th-century China and was taught to a select few. Some of these makers migrated to Taiwan where they continued to produce these infamous knives. As time progressed, many of these makers ceased production and only two families in Taipei have been making these in recent times. Today, the doors of the house of Chiu are currently closed and it is unknown if they will reopen. The knife is presented with a Storage pouch.
