The full-tang handle has removable Tan Micarta scales and lanyard hole. This knife utilizes a 9 " Cleaver blade with a Condor edge, 3.3mm thickness, hanger hole and 90-degree spine for Ferro ROD use. The blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with Black Oxide finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Canvas Belt Sheath.
