Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this magnificent Spartan Blades Machai Fixed Blade is about 11 3/4 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 10.8 ounces. The handle is textured Green Canvas Micarta with a lanyard hole and finger guard/groove. This knife utilizes a 6 5/8" Recurve Drop Point blade with a plain edge, flat grind, 4.8mm thickness, thumb jimping, and finger choil. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58 HRC) with Black Powder-coating. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Black Multi-position Belt Sheath.
